Pyrrosia lingua is an evergreen fern that is also known as the felt fern, tongue fern, or Japanese felt fern. It is a member of the Polypodiaceae family and can be found in China, Southeast Asia, Japan, and Taiwan. A great addition in terrariums, bioscapes, backdrop wall plantings.
- A long, creeping rhizome that grows slowly and shallowly
- Upright fronds that are 12–18 inches tall and have a tapered base
- Olive green fronds with a slight twist and an undulating margin
- A felted tan underside due to hairs and scale
