White Shaving Brush Tree.  Native to Mexico and Central America, it features a swollen, water-storing, bright green trunk (caudex) and is often grown as a specimen tree or in bonsai. It blooms in early spring before leaves appear. The 'Alba' cultivar specifically produces white stamens with golden anthers, differing from the more common pink variety.

The blooms are highly fragrant, known for a sweet perfume that often draws comparisons to sweet bubblegum, tropical fruits, and gentle florals.

Often use as Bonsai plant.
