Philodendron 'McDowell' is a man-made hybrid of Philodendron bipinnatifidum and Philodendron speciosum. It's a crawling, terrestrial aroid hybrid that's known for its velvety, dark green leaves with white veins. The plant is named after horticulturist and plant breeder Julius McDowell, who created it.
