Nephrolepis exaltata, commonly known as the Boston fern, sword fern, or wild Boston fern, is a popular houseplant and a species of fern native to tropical regions of the Americas. It's an evergreen fern with arching, sword-shaped fronds that can grow quite long (up to 2-3 feet indoors, and even longer in the wild).
