Micranthemum tweediei, commonly known as Monte Carlo, is a popular, bright green, low-growing aquatic plant used in aquascaping for creating lush foreground carpets, featuring small, rounded leaves and a creeping growth habit, thriving with good light and CO2 but adaptable to lower-tech setups for beginners. It originates from Argentina and provides a soft, grassy texture, forming dense mats that enhance nano tanks or larger aquascapes with its vibrant color and structure, requiring a fine substrate and regular trimming for density.
