Lophocereus schottii var. monstrosus, known as the Totem Pole Cactus, is a distinct, slow-growing succulent featuring smooth, spineless, knobby, and "monstrous" irregular green stems. Native to Baja California, this low-maintenance, drought-tolerant plant thrives in full sun, grows up to 6–15 feet tall, and is popular for landscaping due to its unique, sculptural appearance.
