Hydrocotyle tripartita 'Japan' is an aquatic plant species that is native to Japan. It is also known as *Hydrocotyle sp. Japan* or Three-part pennywort.

Hydrocotyle tripartita 'Japan' is a popular choice for aquascapers because of its attractive foliage and easy upkeep. It has green lobed leaves that look similar to terrestrial clover plants. It is characterized by fast, compact growth and small, intense green leaves on vertical stems.

Can be used as a carpet, forground, midground or even background display. It grows well in low-tech tanks and shines with good lighting and CO2 injection.
