Hydrocotyle sp. Japan*, also known as Hydrocotyle tripartita or Three-part pennywort, is a popular aquatic plant species native to Japan that is often used in aquascapes. It has clover-like leaves that grow on vertical stems, and the plant can form carpet-like clumps that are 5–10 cm tall. It has fast growth and is easy to maintain.
