Christmas moss, also known as Xmas moss (Vesicularia dubyana), is a popular aquatic plant used in aquascaping. It is a versatile and easy to care for plant that can grow on stone, driftwood, or be left free-floating in the water column. Moss provides hiding places for fish and shrimp, especially fry. It can thrive in a wide range of water parameters and does not require CO2 injection for survival, although CO2 supplementation can enhance its growth.
