Marimo Moss Ball

Marimo moss, also known as moss balls or Cladophora balls, are not actually moss, but rather a rare form of algae that grows into large, green balls with a velvety appearance.

Marimo moss are popular aquarium plants and are considered to be relatively easy to care for. They can also be kept as pets in jars. They are thought to symbolize good luck and close bonds in Japan, and are sometimes passed down through generations as family heirlooms.

Light: shade, avoid direct sun

Water: keep submerged and change water every few weeks
