Aphelandra squarrosa 'Snow White', commonly known as the Snow White Zebra Plant, is a visually striking houseplant cherished for its bold foliage.
The leaves are a deep, glossy green with prominent white veins, resembling the stripes of a zebra. It is this unique pattern that gives the plant its common name. Occasionally, it may also produce bright yellow flowers, although these are less common when grown indoors.
This tropical plant originates from the rainforests of Brazil and thrives in warm, humid environments. As a houseplant, it requires bright, indirect light and consistently moist soil. It appreciates regular misting to increase humidity and prefers slightly acidic soil.
