Bloody Mary shrimp (Neocaridina davidi) are a type of dwarf freshwater shrimp that are native to Taiwan and are known for their intense red color. They have transparent shells and red flesh, which gives them a deeper red coloration. Bloody Mary shrimp are omnivores that eat detritus, including fish food, algae, dead plant bits, and biofilm. They can handle a wide range of water parameters, but the water should be conditioned to remove chlorine and chloramine. The tank water parameters for Bloody Mary Shrimp are: PH: 7.0-7.2, GH: 7-8, KH: 3-4, TDS: 200-250, and Temperature: 68F-74F.
